Welcome to my new reader Jackie, glad to have you aboard.
DB started to deal with a leak under our bath. He had previously fixed it but we noticed the grout in the floors tiles was wet for no apparent reason. After taking the side of the bath off, the tray we leave under the drain was full and had also overflowed, so we though we had a leak at that source. Turned out it was the overflow itself, which for some reason hadn't been screwed back properly after we fixed the previous leak.
It is done now and hopefully won't return. We were really worried our main pipe under the concrete floor had sprung a leak!
The weather looks fine there, didn't you have the blanket of snow that we had in Essex? Been there with the leak in bathroom, but I really hope we don't get one now as it probably means we are sinking!!! xxx
ReplyDeleteNo snow here although the rain last night was preceded by snow flurries - bitterly cold. I get the feeling the snow received in your area was not forecast. Have a lovely weekend. x
DeleteHa, you were about 10 minutes away from ours in the car - should have given me a ring, popped in for a cuppa! We used to take our boys and dog over Roydon Common (inspecting them all for deer ticks on return home!) and years later I used to go hacking out there, blissful, a real 'bottle of tranquillisers' I used to say.
ReplyDeleteWe had a radiator disaster this week but luckily we know a good plumber so it was fairly quickly sorted. Not what want in this weather, eh?
Well shiver me timbers! Maybe another time.
Deletelovely to see the photo of the wild horses, so neat. Glad you were able to repair your leak easily.

So were we!
DeleteI do enjoy your walks DC and I love Norfolk. We try and go for walks at least once a week. John is soon to be semi retired and look forward to venturing further.

Can't beat a good walk for feeling refreshed and blowing away the cobwebs.
DeleteBeautiful pics of your walks. Your countryside is looking much like ours in Canada right now, lacking in colour. A bit gray right now. :)
ReplyDeleteWe shall lack colour now except for a few brave winter flowers and shrubs. Mind you, my flowering quince is current putting out a few flowers for some unknown reason.
