First
of all, I must apologise to anyone who normally likes to post a
comment anonymously. I have had to stop this as nearly all comments
are now 'rogue' ones trying to sell something or lead to a commercial
site 'lending' items/offering jobs etc.
I've
changed who can leave comments so hope you can still do so. If not I
may have to revert to my old comment security and add word
verification which I absolutely loathe.
Just found your blog through frugal queen. What beautiful photographs. I will read again next time.

Thank you and welcome.
DeleteI know it's cold, but the pictures showing the hoar frost are beautiful. Would be lovely to frame. :)
ReplyDeleteThey are lovely, shall wait for it to happen again and use a better camera and then maybe frame some.
DeleteBeautifully frosted pics!!
ReplyDeleteThank you Sarina, hope you are well.
DeleteThe berries look fabulous against the white of the frost. Sorry- I didn't pick up your email until this afternoon, but hope things are sorted now.
ReplyDeleteB. pointed them out as I had my back to them. Sorted now hopefully.
DeleteHI, lovely pictures of beautiful frosty countryside! Dont you just love it? (as long as you can wrap up warm it's brilliant just to go for a lovely long walk in it).
ReplyDeleteI know what you mean about adverts, its driving me mad, my blog seems to have loads of adverts popping up and I dont want to advertise or link to any other site but dont know what to do about it, nightmare!
You have to go to the bit where you chose who can comment and tick the 2nd box down. Will see how it goes.
DeleteWe had a ground frost but no hoar frost (or "petrified forest" as DH calls it).
ReplyDeleteHope your comment problem is sorted now.

Apparently its official name is radiation frost - sounds a little scary when you say it that way!
DeleteLovely photos. I had a walk today (collecting the foliage for my wreath) and will post my photos tomorrow. It is lovely out, as long as you are wrapped up well. But very pretty with a layer of frost on everything.
ReplyDeleteAnd very nice it is too Dan. We have normal frost this morning. Apparently hoar frost can only form when there is a lot of moisture in the air such as freezing fog.
