Lunch is served

Still feeling the need to be eating soup in this dismal weather, we didn't quite have enough for a bowlful each so had some in a mug with a toasted cheese sandwich:
To tide us over until tea time, we had a milky drink with a mince pie in the mid afternoon.

I have updated our menu for last week.

  1. You soup always look so good. It is suppose to be warm in the Eastern US both today and tomorrow then get cold. I hope we have a mild winter with little to no snow this year, the last one was brutal. Cheryl

    1. Thank you. I think you got the polar air dump last winter so hopefully that won't happen again.

  2. You've taken the words out of my mouth. I made soup this morning for today and tomorrow. My afternoon drink will be a thin slice of Stollen cake my Danish friend gave me while watching a Christmas film. Day off ......Bliss!
