Making two loaves of GF bread for the week ahead, I must have done something different as within a short space of time, they had gone mad and were in danger of escaping from their tins:
I quickly tore up a thick cardboard foil box, wrapped the strips in foil then inserted them down the sides of the tin to hold up the paper, which had previously collapsed under the flow of bread:
Here they are, baked and with their ears removed for our lunch:

DeleteThey certainly look impressive. I am afraid I cheat with the bread making and use a machine.
ReplyDeleteNo kneading required. When making one loaf, I do it by hand, if two, I use the mixet.

ReplyDeleteWe only have eight slices out at a time anyway. Fresh for the first day, toasted after that. These seem the same.

ReplyDeleteI often have this happen to my bread. I am hoping for that perfect loaf tomorrow (won't happen but I can wish). I think you did a great job getting the dough back into the pan.
