Still my tennis hero.....

No, he didn't play badly, he is injured! How the heck you even got this far Andy is just amazing so well done for trying your best. All we can ask of anyone is their best. Now you need some time out to get properly fit.

As for those 'fans' whose geographical brain freeze allows them to change his nationality, depending on whether he wins or loses- sigh - lets get it straight. He was born in Scotland therefore he is Scottish. Scotland is part of Great Britain making him British as well. Now you know.

We still have some players in, which is just great, so lets cheer them on. Others have gone deeper than before but are now out, well done to you all.

  1. Our thoughts exactly regarding getting this far - he looked like he was limping in the earlier rounds. He must have an abundance of grit and determination, and looked shattered in the post match interview.

    1. Hope it doesn't cost him later in life.

  2. A shame about the way it ended but he didn't make a fuss and kept going obviously in pain.
What next I wonder for the rest of them today

  3. You could see the pain he was in by the end - but he kept going. I was sorry to see him go and hope he gets this injury sorted soon.

Federer made short work of Raonic I'm afraid. Will be cheering for Konta in the morning-it's on at 7:15am.!!!
