Rain, rain, rain - updated

It started raining 7 pm last night and it is still raining. Forecast to rain until 3 pm this afternoon. We are currently experiencing high winds into the bargain. Watching the news this morning, some have had snow instead, which is expected to go by us, if the weather maps are correct.

We have huge puddles in the back garden and are keeping our fingers crossed that the garden and driveway can cope, and we don’t have a problem.

Keep safe folks.

By late afternoon, quite a lot had drained away leaving just a few big puddles:

  2. I think we're right on the edge of the snow here. Sleet and high winds and it's really not pleasant out.

  3. Here in mid Norfolk the rain is incessant. A brief snow shower earlier - and the garage has flooded!

  5. Travelled across to Addenbrookes this morning- horrible snow over that way, coming home was slow going. Here we just have Large Lakes!

  6. We've actually had sunshine here today so we had a few hours at the allotment. We had awful rain on Christmas Day- travelling home on the motorway wasn't pleasant at all.
