We had forgotten....

The good and bad  sides of doing a jigsaw puzzle. It does feel good to be doing one after many years but boy, do our necks and backs ache!

This is what DB bought me for Christmas:
At the start of today (day 3), it looked like this:
By the time we had finished, it was at this stage:

We have also been for a drive to Wells next the sea, had a short but bracing walk, and the sea air did us both a power of good.

  1. Love Wells next the Sea, we used to go there often when we lived in the Midlands. There's a very nice fish and chip shop there....well, there used to be. That puzzle looks lovely.

  2. I bought my hubby a jigsaw for Christmas - picked up in a charity shop for £1 - Padstow in Winter - but only 250 pieces. I hope there are none missing.

  4. Wells next the Sea sounds lovely. I should think all the beach huts there looked very deserted today. The OH is doing a puzzle. It is in black and white. Very difficult to do. I think it will be out for a while:)

  6. I don't think I've been to Wells next to the sea but I've been right around that top coastline, little Snoring and Fakenham. It's certainly been a cold one despite the sunshine.

  7. Lovely jigsaw. Harvey and I used to do them quite often when we were first married. I think we just might have to take up the habit once again.

    God bless.

  8. That looks a lovely jigsaw, and one that can come out each year to do again :-)

I have stopped doing jigsaws since I started wearing reading glasses, they just give me a headache as well as neck and back ache, so this year we sold the lot at a car boot sale ... and bought some more books instead ;-)
