New Jigsaw...

Welcome to Charlotte Weavers and Peapod via Bloglovin. This is our new jigsaw:
On Friday, DB and I got the outside edges of it completed. Saturday saw us, DS and DDiL sit down and enjoy about an hour or more, adding to it, DS also videoed about 50 minutes of us, which we played back at high speed. It was at this stage:
The jigsaw is on the dining room table, we both do some in between other things. Yesterday morning, after DB and I had done some on Sunday, it was at this stage:

By the evening, it looked like this:
Coming along nicely. It is another one of those puzzles with odd shaped pieces in, certainly keeps us on our toes!

    1. Hi Jacqui, the previous jigsaw was by House of Puzzles Ltd entitled Unexpected Guest. It was 1000 pieces but can also be bought as a 500 piece puzzle. This one is also by the same company, entitled Sledging. Again 1000 pieces.

  2. The jigsaw is of a lovely snowy scene.
Hubby completed "Padstow in Winter" - the charity shop £1 bargain - thankfully all pieces present.
He picked up another charity shop one - "Grow Your Own" (an allotment scene) - 1000 pieces this time though, for just £2. He's done the edges but the pieces are very small and I heard lots of tutting going on!!

    1. Doesn’t help that the picture has more at the edges than the jigsaw!

  6. It’s funny as I always used to do the edges before I started the main jigsaw. Hubby just starts the jigsaw anywhere and finishes parts at a time, much quicker
