Hardy souls...

We haven't been to Hunstanton for quite a while so remedied that today. Very overcast and chilly but being Good Friday, people were turning up. We went via the back roads but started to come home the normal route but then had to divert to back roads again!

It used to have beautiful sandy beaches but the storms of 2016 and the latest one a few weeks ago, have taken most of it away:

Down the promenade:
New mini golf:
New children's play area:
Including a dragon:
You might not hear from me so much for a short while as we have a garden to sort out, help someone move house and the occasional dog sitting duties, so shall be in and out like yoyo's, hence sparse blogging.

Have a lovely break everyone!

    1. Got to get better soon I hope. It’s early for Easter so that doesn’t help does it?

  2. We used to go to Hunstanton regularly when we lived in the Midlands - can't believe just how much of the sand has been washed away! The weather is a true force to be reckoned with isn't it? I hope you enjoy all your busy stuff for the next few weeks.

    1. All the decent sand is now further up at Old Hunstanton but even that lost many feet of the sand dunes in 2016.

    1. Thanks Sue. Garden will be difficult if the weather doesn’t improve occasionally!

  5. What a shame about all that lovely sand. Maybe it will wash back at some point.
It's wet and miserable here too but there you go, it has to brighten up at some point and we will be ready when it does.
