If you like mushrooms, this is a relatively cheap meal to make. If not, you could substitute for Quorn or other vegetables. There was also a can of tomatoes, bringing the total cost of 4 main meals to £2.60 all in, including the rice:

Looks delicious, I might try using some of the frozen mushrooms I bought the other day in this.
ReplyDeleteHopefully should work ok. The first year I had a dehydrator mushrooms were finely sliced and dried. Then they were pulverised in a blender, into a fine powder. It packed a real mushroom taste when added to meals.
DeleteLooks delicious. For the first time in weeks I have just managed to get some yellow stickers and mushrooms was one of the items.
ReplyDeleteIt was good but we think we prefer it with dried soaked apricots as the juice gave a bit of a sour note.
