Even though these spreads are meant to be better, they are still full of things I don't necessarily want to eat, a bit of a dilemma isn't it?Dchttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02490191919855219024noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5339317216265636215.post-5319947340478464632016-02-09T16:56:06.590+00:002016-02-09T16:56:06.590+00:00Try freezing your extra mature Cheddar grated and ...Try freezing your extra mature Cheddar grated and then you can sprinkle just a little of it onto anything you need it for, it also defrosts almost instantly for last minute use.

It's a really good idea to buy the extra mature as you need such a small amount compared to mild cheddars.

The only milk I ever buy is skimmed, LH has drunk this for years and I used to when I had milk, anything else even the 1% just tastes so fatty now. It's funny how quickly tastes can change isn't it we used to always drink semi-skimmed.

Butter is cheaper than any of the spreads because it is a natural product and doesn't need the same work done to it and additives added, and as the fat is taken from all the skimmed, 1% and semi-skimmed milk there is lots of fat available to make the butter these days.Suehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04177854521955532744noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5339317216265636215.post-68579384066040611432016-02-08T18:14:48.304+00:002016-02-08T18:14:48.304+00:00It is odd isn't it, that butter is so much che...It is odd isn't it, that butter is so much cheaper than the spreads.Dchttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02490191919855219024noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5339317216265636215.post-9486305103931635922016-02-08T14:55:15.951+00:002016-02-08T14:55:15.951+00:00We have the proactive buttery which isn't chea...We have the proactive buttery which isn't cheap but only for toast. When we make sandwiches I use a tiny drop of reduced fat mayo or salad cream on the bread for savory fillings. It all helps. Our grandson is allergic to milk in a big way and we have some left over from Xmas in the fridge we are working our way through - its not too bad.TrishWishhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12133314088190424463noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5339317216265636215.post-53727342622616400562016-02-08T12:00:47.557+00:002016-02-08T12:00:47.557+00:00Can but try can't we?Can but try can't we?Dchttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02490191919855219024noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5339317216265636215.post-21581844322924211302016-02-08T10:57:04.870+00:002016-02-08T10:57:04.870+00:00I love cheese......I find it a struggle to cut dow...I love cheese......I find it a struggle to cut down.
