The inventor of those coffee pods who doesn't use them himself because he has realised they will be around for at least a few thousand years after he has died. As my 'cooking from scratch' has grown my packaging has dwindled. Its many convenience food that is highly packaged. Rant over. Have a lovely day.Living Alone in Your 60'shttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08848266282669835475noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5339317216265636215.post-4891370847061480942015-03-19T10:00:16.681+00:002015-03-19T10:00:16.681+00:00with the talc, at least it actually weighed what i...with the talc, at least it actually weighed what it should have, which is a bonus in my books, but yes I do agree a smaller container would be better.Gill - That British Womanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17456247587052149765noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5339317216265636215.post-78906621851183284512015-03-19T09:49:12.940+00:002015-03-19T09:49:12.940+00:00I think that the manufacturers argue that [a] you ...I think that the manufacturers argue that [a] you need the airspace so that the talc shakes out as a fine powder and not in clumps[but I am not convinced by this! ]... and [b] when the bottles are filled in the factory, they need to leave space for the powder to settle - it takes up more volume as it is poured in because of the trapped air.
