I see the Russian viewing figures are through the roof again!
At long last, my blanket is finished. This is the back of it draped over an armchair:
Here is its front:
It is 6 x 8 squares in size. It was going to be larger but as we are in the process of changing over from two settee's to four armchairs (settee's no longer offer us decent support) and it would have been too large.
I think the final colour added in really picks up the colour of the new fabric. The rest of the colours are picking up the colours from the curtains.
What are the Russians looking for? I cannot believe they are reading our blogs for crochet ideas and Nativity Costume Tutorials!!
ReplyDeleteYour blanket is lovely, a real achievement. O hope it keeps you toasty-warm over the winter!!
Thank you, already doing so.
DeleteSuch a beautiful make, love the colour combination.
ReplyDeleteThank you.
DeleteSo pretty. I noticed the Russian viewing stats on my blog are high this week. One day last week it was views from China.
ReplyDeleteGod bless.
Probably a cyber attack in the making.
DeleteIt's beautiful. Cheryl
ReplyDeleteThank you.
DeleteI thought I'd commented , but I must not have done, or it has been lost in the ether!
ReplyDeleteIt's gorgeous. You must be so proud of it! You have more patience than me as I have tried crochet and just can't persevere with it.
Lost in the ether I think, so thank you. Not sure I would be able to tackle much else, time will tell.
DeleteI am LOVING your throw! I am stacking up a fair few of these solid grannies, using the odds and ends from Stylecraft projects - loads more yarn left over of a few hundred more squares and I'll be away! I really like your colour scheme.
ReplyDeleteYou know, it always amazed me when I realised you could get stats for your blog, just how many viewers I have from Russia! WHo knew! Lx
Guess they must be up to something! Thank you. I haven't yet tried changing colour as I go, must try it sometime. The extra colours on these were added at the end.
