The front garden (and back) are now leaping into life and colour:
Aqualeiga, iris and poppies are in full bloom with the peony waiting in the background to flower shortly.
The tomatoes have been planted outside in the ground (protected by fleece for a few days), the climbing beans as well. Lettuce have taken, a few beetroot and radish, and carrots have decided to get going at last. The 4th set of peas have finally decided to make an appearance - yah!
Your garden is looking so pretty. Ours is breathing a sigh of relief with all the rain, and J is breathing a sigh of relief as it meant the soil at the front was finally workable ( he dug it all over on Sunday and relaid the paving)
ReplyDeleteHurray that your peas have made an appearance!
Thankyou. Rain here as well thank goodness although not all the water butts have refilled. Ground is so hard in the front I can't even hammer some support canes in so can sympathise with J.
DeleteIt's a wonderful time of year. I'm just germinating my next lot of peas in damp tissue ready for the garden. Your garden looks so pretty.
ReplyDeleteThankyou. That is about 1/3rd of the front.
DeleteLove your flowery header.
ReplyDeleteThere is a peony here that has been in bud for a month or more, I'm beginning to think it will never burst into flower, haven't spotted any poppies yet.
Mine is still in bud but getting larger.
DeleteYour garden looks very pretty. We have had a little rain but not done much good. Expecting more tomorrow so hopefully that will help.
ReplyDeleteThank you.
DeleteYour garden is looking lovely, the rain has certainly helped everything move along xxx
ReplyDeleteThank you, everything was starting to flag.
