More and more people....

Seem to be giving up or taking a break from blogging. I can see I shall have to look for some more blogs to add to my sidebar! At least most people let you know this is happening which is nice. I always worry about those who just stop as I wonder if they have died!

I already read a few via other blogs I follow so shall have a good housekeep of my reading list!

Day time temperatures are set to recover a bit after the weekend although night time is still going to be chilly. Will Spring ever get going, I am getting just a little stir crazy!

Mind you, There are now some daffodils making an appearance so maybe we are beginning to get there.

First washing is thrashing around on the line, another lot in the washer. Cold and very windy so hopefully they will get half dry.

Welcome to Jan Webb via Bloglovin.

  2. I worry too, especially when it's sudden. I worry anyway, in case there's a mega problem and I worry in case I have inadvertently said something wrong. Maybe I'm just a worrier!
My hyacinths are starting to open and make a lovely splash of colour against the snow - very spring-like and a promise of better weather to come.

    1. I need to get some snowdrops in the green dug up to give to a friend. If the weather plays ball, I hope to do it this week.

  3. Please keep blogging! I have a somewhat isolated life and as you live fairly close to me I regard you as a neighbour!

  4. I'd missed the weather forecast for today so didn't put the washing on, it would have freeze dried in 10 minutes.........oh well another day tomorrow.

  6. As a variant to the saying "old bloggers never die, they just set up new blogs"😂.

  7. There have been a few I have read during the last 10 years who have stopped suddenly. Some I kept in my reading list, just in case they returned. It is worrying, which is why I let people know I'm having a break, which I'm enjoying. Thanks for email. Will reply today. Xx

  8. I was most disappointed to see we'd lost another favourite over the weekend - and all the more so due to the fact that it was done in a very abrupt way. :-(

    1. I think people just get fed up and need a break. Either that or family life needs attention.

    1. I think as long as we enjoy blogging and don’t feel obliged, it makes it easier.

  10. I've not blogged in over a week but will post in the next day or so. I've noticed a slowdown/stoppage for others and will be looking to add some new blogs myself.

    1. Maybe its winter dragging on that’s contributing.

  11. Several bloggers that I read have stopped in the last month, two just in the last week. On a positive note it does leave room and stimulates me to look at new to me blogs. I do hope they return but I have also found a few new blogs to follow.
My daffodils bloomed 3 days ago tulips soon!

  12. Hi there and thanks for the welcome. I'm always on the look out for interesting blogs and while it's sad to see some authors take a rest, there are always more to discover. I'll keep my eye on your recommendations.
