Guess what

After my stamp failed to arrive we put in our claim. The company accepted this (12 emails) and arranged a replacement to be delivered.

When we got up this morning our lost stamp had been put through our letterbox. Who delivered it, we have no idea but I am glad to see it! Proves at least it was delivered elsewhere.

The company has been informed.

  1. We so often receive parcels by mistake for the next street along. We just pop it through the letter box for whoever it is. Glad yours arrived safely.

    1. Thanks. We quite often get letters for our neighbours.

  2. Glad you got it eventually but, as I mentioned on my blog this morning, isn't it a pity that everything seems to be a battle nowadays? Our parcels often get delivered to the wrong house - road signage here is very confusing - and we get neighbours' parcels too. Luckily, as it's a short no through road with only a few houses, we all know each other and are happy to take in whoever's parcels.

    1. Our post code definitely brings people here and our house and gate have our number on. Heavens knows where it was delivered to.

  4. I once received an eviction notice. I knew what it was as it was written all over the envelope along with DO NOT IGNORE. It was for a home half a mile away. I did deliver it but thought some people would have simply put it in the bin and there people wouldn't have been any the wiser.

    1. Good for you if not them. Glad someone gave me the parcel as well.
