Dies

I didn't have any dies so rectified that today. Here are my practise pieces. The tree lost part of itself when I peeled off some backing paper. I was trying to protect my embossing plate but it didn't make any difference other than to make that particular bit fall off!:
This one is meant to be a snow globe but if I used all of it, it wouldn't fit my card. The outside of the globe would have cut a circle for me but again, that element of it will have to wait as I don't currently own circle dies:
A pretty label die, like this one:
Finally, a dragonfly on some watermark background:
Enjoying myself immensely!

  1. You have a talent for creating cards, it is a mystery to me, I have not tried making any. The first one with the tree and the background is especially pretty.

    1. Not creating any at the moment Terra, these are just front pieces. Mind you, a couple of them could well make their way onto cards.

  2. And I'm enjoying your efforts! I love the dragonfly and the label. Die cutting is something I've not really tried much at all yet. Something for the future.

  3. I have a spare set of rectangle nesting frames if you would like them.

  4. I have several dies, but they're mainly circle and label type ones. With the finer ones, would you use a spray glue to adhere them to the card?

  6. I love my big shot die cutter, I bought it second hand 5 years ago. You are doing well.
