Boring bloody Brexit

It’s become clear now the only real reason labour is voting against everything, is because they want a general election which they believe they can win. Almost the same reason for the Lib Dem’s.

All these marchers demanding a final say. We had a say, we voted out and still the bloody MP’s can’t or won’t get on with it.

So if we have another vote and that is to stay in, what then, another vote for best of 3! What if your party doesn’t win a general election, demand another? What is the point of a democratic process if we keep arguing about the result? That is how military dictatorships are born for heavens sake.

How many MP’s are actually voting as a result of what their boroughs said in the Brexit vote, hardly any by the sound of things. Just doing their own thing and being bloody minded into the bargain.

I am sick of the whole thing, sick of our shambles of a parliament, sick of the delay, and will be sick of the years to come, when everyone plays the blame game.

  1. And now they've defeated it.....I'm sure there can't be anyone in the country (us mere mortals, I mean) who isn't totally fed up with it all. The MPs just don't care about us at all, do they?

  2. Well said - all MP'S are selfish self centered idiots who only care whether Brexit means that coming out will stop them from popping across to their little holiday home in Provance every weekend - they don't know what the word democracy means. Don't even start me on the idle stupid thick idiot that is Corbyn - Well said again xx

  3. It is scary when an issue has been decided on by the voters and isn't carried out. Why have a vote if they aren't going to listen. Our representatives in the US say one thing to get elected and then do another.

    1. Never takes this long to get the new prime minister into office does it. John Bercow is causing a lot of damage at the moment, just because he can, outrageous.

  4. This is just theoretical - what if referendums had an expiry date? What if there was another referendum and many of the Leavers are now passed on and those youngsters who are now eligible to vote vote to remain? I think we could find that Remain wins. I know this could be said of many elections but now the truth is out and there has NEVER been 3 years between a result and it becoming actionable it could be very telling. If my wording is off, I apologise - but you get my drift?! Have had enough of the whole debacle.

    1. I think having expiry dates would just make delays even more probable. Yes, I do think another referendum would probably be to remain, but we voted and they are ignoring that vote for their own political gains.

  5. Anyone who is going to vote in the next election needs to check their candidates record before believing anything said. You can go on line and see how your MP is voting on each issue, what extra committee meetings they do, etc - just a pity its not recording how much time they spend in the house too! Pay per hour must be far in excess of minimum wage. Personally nothing will happen till we can vote the whole currently sitting lot out.
