That it blew my mini greenhouse over despite it having bricks in the bottom. It is also against the house wall so shouldn't have fallen over really:
Too wet to see if it is damaged. In the front garden this morning, was this lonely and rather small oriental poppy, bet it wished it hadn't bothered:
We support Sue Ryder with our household donations and this morning received a letter to say they had sold them and raised just about £100. Good to know.
Goodness, that was very windy. I hope there's not too much damage done. Fantastic outcome to your donations - very heart warming.

Greenhouse was okay and has been moved.
DeleteHow wonderful that your donations raised that much.
ReplyDeleteWhat is it with the weather? It was really windy here as well and we live across the pond.
God bless.
£80 in sales and the rest as gift aid.
DeleteI was in the garden at 3 this morning with the puppy. He was watching the fences rattle and the hanging baskets away, quite spooked by it all
ReplyDeleteAh poor puppy, glad you got one, hope all goes well.
DeleteSo encouraging to get a note from SR about your donations. Gift Aiding is such an easy way to increase the income.
ReplyDeleteCertainly is, £20 extra for them is a nice bonus.
