We had a request for some homemade biscuits so that is what I have done:
Thanks for all your comments and various links regarding vegan eating, eating or not eating almonds etc. With regards to almonds, the ones I buy (and their milk) are all produced in the Mediterranean, so at least I feel I am not contributing to the water problems in California.
It is interesting hearing all the views on vegetarian/vegan. I sometimes think the more extreme end of that movement are getting a bit strident. As I get older I find I do not eat as much meat and quite often have fish, eggs or cheese as the basis for the meal. My husband is still very traditional and prefers meat.
ReplyDeleteYour biscuits look tasty. Much nicer than shop bought and you know exactly what went into them.
What kind of biscuit did you make? They look delicious. Here, across the pond we call them cookies.
ReplyDeleteGod bless.
Known as lactation cookies but basically oat and choc chip with added wheat germ, brewers yeast and linseed.
DeleteThey look delicious. I love a good biscuit.
ReplyDeleteI love the look of your gravity defying biscuits ;-)
