Finished the jigsaw on day 4!

Once we get the majority of a jigsaw finished, every piece is put onto the table and sorted into groups, in their individual shapes. This makes it so much easier to identify what shaped piece you need.

Anyhow, we finished our latest jigsaw on day 4:

We are taking a break now as my neck is aching quite badly!

  1. That's a good one, very satisfying to see it done.

I gave up doing jigsaws when I had to start wearing reading glasses and I got fed up with them sliding down my nose while I stood over it. If I could find a good 500 piece one I may have another go, but everywhere I go seems to only have 1000 piece ones and that is just too much for me

  2. Gerard and I enjoy doing a jigsaw, we usually leave it out and work on it as we walk past it so it takes a couple of weeks.

  4. Wow, you are very quick. Takes Harvey much longer to do his. I really like how this one looks.

    God bless.

  5. There are free puzzles online at jigsawplanet.com. There are a lot of different puzzles with different amounts of pieces. Fun to do! Ann M

    1. Thanks for the link, some interesting pictures. I have to be honest, we prefer to physically do them rather than on screen fiddling around.

  6. I’ve got a couple to do soon and like you, I sort into shape groups, once I’ve got to a certain stage. It’s so much easier. Time can run away with itself when you start one though, can’t it!

    1. Certainly can. We can always redo older ones if we want to keep occupied for longer.
