Ruby was in bed last night by 22:30 hrs but we stayed up just in case loud fireworks upset her. Didn’t need too. Not a single firework nor a ring of church bells. No one shouting outside nor car doors slamming and merry voices. Very odd but very welcome.
We watched a socially distanced Jools Holland and his Hootenanny until the New Year came in, then off to bed we went. Again odd.
Very quiet morning so far. Ruby is full of beans today but passing Mr. Whippy weird coloured poo. Hopefully that will be back to normal soon.
Hope you all had a good evening and Happy New Year to everyone.
It sounds as if she is well on the mend and I'm glad she wasn't disturbed last night - nor you either.
ReplyDeleteAll the best for 2021.
xx
Thanks and the same to you. Outside of her is happy and well, insides another matter.
DeleteThere were more fireworks than ever here. They started around 6PM and were still going off at after 1am!
ReplyDeleteGlad that Ruby is perking up. Here's to a better 2021 for us all. Xx
Amen to that. Parties still happening throughout, selfish people.
DeleteIt was so quiet last night, no sounds and no traffic ... and I went to bed at eleven to enjoy the peace.
ReplyDeleteAlan gave Suky some cheese on top of her dinner yesterday and although we have had no 'Mr Whippy poo' (that did make me laugh) he did have to put up with some truly obnoxious farts last night and she was sat on his chair with him ... serves him right!!
Happy New Year. xx
Same to you both. Yep, dogs sure do let off smelly wind don’t they?
DeleteHappy New Year to you. How I longed for the quiet you describe but got its opposite including upset cat and rattling windows. Tired today. I hope the coming year is good to you and Ruby.
DeleteHappy new year to you and yours, wishing you everything you wish for yourself.
ReplyDeleteHappy New Year. I am glad that Ruby is more like her old self. Hopefully even better poo wise tomorrow.
ReplyDeleteGod bless.
