Baking done!

Our weekly biscuits have been made - lemon and chia seed - plus a jar of granola created and baked:

We treat ourselves to just one a day with an afternoon cup of tea. Hopefully, when the sun decides to come out, it will soon be warm enough to do so on the patio.

Granola is sprinkled onto our smoothies/porridge or banana yoghurt breakfasts. It helps it last for  2 or 3 weeks.

  1. Both look good. I am a great fan of homemade granola and it is much healthier.

    1. We don’t like it sweet and this has a bit of maple syrup in it.

  2. I need to practice my granola making, I always seem to give it a burnt taste. In the meantime I've been eating Deliciously Ella's ready made granola, it's very tasty for breakfast and supper.

    1. I think cooking times are to blame. I do mine for 10 minutes, toss and another 10 minutes at the most. Then I tip it not a big bowl so it doesn’t catch on the tray.
