Radish microgreens

After about 8 days, they were ready to harvest:

I could have (and might do so another time), left them growing and harvest when required. These though were cut all at once and stored in an airtight container in the fridge. We ate a few over 3 days:
They were certainly pleasantly spicy.

  1. Radishes are good at every stage of growing aren't they. If you ever have some that go woody and go to seed in the garden leave them. The flowers are lovely and the bees and other insects really appreciate them and then you get little spicy pods that you can eat straight off the plant ... or of course save and use the seeds that eventually appear in them.

    1. Yes, love the seed pods, crunchy and peppery.

    3. Munched Bier radishes are dedicated to seed pod production but most will readily seed.
