I have made 11 birthday cards for women from a lovely old calendar and 4 for men.
The perfect fit Venetian blinds we ordered for the spare bedroom, arrived in less than a week. We have ordered some shorter fitments as they are showing daylight around the frame.
I will post a picture once they are up.
I haven't made any cards for ages, my little craft room is full up with caravan bits and bobs so it's not easy to work in there. I'll be glad when it's emptied out and tidy again.

DeleteSometimes I miss making cards and my little craft room, when the artistic mood comes over me it's nice to be able to be able to do something. I bought a journal type book back sometime last year and I've been collecting lots of little photos and pictures as well as anything that took my fancy ever since so that one day I can sit and have a sticking in session when I'm in the mood.
ReplyDeleteSome calendars are just too nice to throw away aren't they, and usually they have the round up of all the pictures on the last page don't they which are ideal for crafting with.
Luckily the top of each month was the right size for small cards. The journal idea sounds lovely.
