After two wretched days, the worst of being unwell has passed. I have never had such a sore throat or felt so cold. Having flu was the nearest memory of such things. Another bad night, though I did sleep eventually. Took a Covid test this morning to be on the safe side, negative thank goodness.
A lovely sunny few days to come. Hopefully after resting today, I might feel up to doing something. The last two duvet covers will be hung outside once washed. The first one still smells of whatever washing powder the shop washed them in.
Glad to hear you're feeling better. Don't overdo it!
ReplyDeleteThink it will be a few more days yet, still aching with a thick head. Weird.
DeleteI'm so very glad the test was negative. Hoping you recover quickly now. xx
ReplyDeleteThank you, glad you are feeling better. I think it will be a few more days yet as I ache and my head feels fit to explode.
DeleteSuch a good idea, and when I read it, I remember a lovely set of cotton covers and a matching flat sheet I gave away a few years ago. Now I think twice before I give stuff away. Hope you feel a lot better soon.
ReplyDeleteIt can be difficult to know what to let go can’t it.
DeleteFeel better. Whatever is going around is horrible! I've had four negative tests and still feel like a train hit me. The weariness is the worst. Getting dressed and eating breakfast is draining.
ReplyDeleteRest and let yourself heal.
Sorry to hear that. Intense runny nose yesterday, gone now. Sinuses inflamed today and sore throat has partially returned:(
DeleteI'm glad to hear that you feel half human again, perhaps a few sunny days will be exactly what you need to make you fully human.
ReplyDeleteThere are a lot of bugs and this new strain of Covid around, so when you do go out be careful.
Tested negative so far. Now have runny nose, cough, sneezing, sore sinuses, milder sore throat and buzzing ears:(
DeleteI hope that you feel better soon, and that you keep testing negative.
ReplyDeleteGod bless.
