Shiver me timbers!

DB and I went for our Covid booster yesterday. He was alright, hardly a sore arm and slept okay. Me, a very sore arm began early afternoon. Just before going to bed, I started to shiver and went ice cold.

In bed, the shivering intensified and I just couldn't stop it. It went on for about 45 minutes. Thought I was going to smash my teeth they were chattering so much. During the night, my arm pain got worse as well and at one point, I couldn’t even move it.

Woke up this morning feeling not well at all. The shivering had gone, the arm pain had lessened but still there. DB was fine, typical!

Went back to bed for a brief stint, didn't want any breakfast so just had a cup of tea. Thankfully, now, I am feeling a little better. Any jobs for today will have to wait.

Bring on my flu jab, I always have a reaction to that.

  1. I had my covid and flu jab at the same time, I was expecting a reaction, but got nothing fortunately.

  2. Isn't it odd how we all react differently? Husband had no ill effects, I suddenly got very tired the evening we had the jab but was fine by morning. Let's hope your flu jab gives you no reaction this year!

  5. Had both flu and covid 2 days ago, one arm is very hot, swollen and painful, also feels like someone tied a brick to it. Also had a headache for best part of 24 hours. Oddly the other arm is fine. Hubby has just a mild headache. So not fair. Hope you feel OK soon.

  6. I get my jab tomorrow and am kind of dreading it. Like you for some reason the shot really bothers me. Not so Harvey.

    Glad you are feeling better.

    God bless.

  7. We both felt okay after our jabs, Covid in one arm and the flu jab in the other. Alan's arms were a little bit sore, and I woke up in the night with the Covid arm really aching but apart from that we were fine.
