What a weird May

Yet again, a 9C day with a cold northerly wind. Washing is on the line and we hope the wind will partially dry it.

Heating has just been put on as the house is cold. Greenhouse remains shut. Tomorrow is forecast for sun and 18C temperatures. It is still too cold at night to plants out the tomatoes, maybe another week or so!

  1. It's hot here in Oregon where we live, late this week and into next week. Last Saturday I was outside potting some strawberries in 2 rectangle pots. I wound up getting another bag of potting soil at the hardware store as I ran out of it. I forgot to get seedlings soil again as I want to grow lettuce. Daughter was going to get tomato plants but they may die due to heat this early like they did last year. I hope weather warms up soon and you will have a good day and beyond 😊

    1. Looking forward to tomorrow that’s for sure. Might actually get some gardening done.

  2. I will be bringing in my plants from outside tonight, it is supposed to get pretty darn cool. No frost, but not the warmest of temperatures. I am hoping that tomorrow is much better. I really would like to get more plants.

    God bless.
