Some shops here are fine, others have gaps. So far my transit fare has stayed the same and working from home for half the week helps as well.<br />Groceries are up of course, although you can still get a few bargains (although that is relative since we have now gotten used to higher prices). The Milk Marketing Board has just asked for another increase - milk is around the $4 per litre mark at the moment and a pound of butter is $6.19 - I checked today. But unlike other places, our stores seem to be well stocked - one or two items may be a bit low on a shelf for a day or two but then the delivery trucks arrive and everything is restocked.Margie from Torontohttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10103835021764804099noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5339317216265636215.post-37242266894268241812022-06-14T23:49:26.919+01:002022-06-14T23:49:26.919+01:00In my province of Saskatchewan (which actually pro...In my province of Saskatchewan (which actually produces oil and gas) the price right now is $2.06. 9 a liter or around the $10.50 an Imperial gallon. In my town the police are not responding to some calls due to the gas prices.
