I picked up a book with a red ...It works both ways. I picked up a book with a red spot (all red spot items 50p)and it was a very new book in excellent condition about Le Tour. I asked at the counter as I felt it was worth more. It seems their volunteer had misunderstood his task and was putting red spots on everything that caught his eye! The manager suggested £2 which I was happy to pay. But yes, some CS do overcharge.
