DB found the first, big house spider last night, in the bedroom, near the ceiling - heavens! As far as those creatures goes, that is the only thing about this time of year, that I loathe. We have a glass and a piece of card in each room, to catch them and throw them outside, where no doubt, they just find their way right back in.
Time to move the glasses close to us, so we can be ready to catch them asap!
I'm glad you didn't post a pic - I have a phobia about them. We've had a few so far...I'm afraid in our house they get killed (by husband) as I'm so pathologically frightened of them coming back in if he just puts them outside.
ReplyDeleteThey probably always come back inside but no doubt, have their uses!
DeleteI called hubby as there wad one in the bath and he was HUGE. He knew it must be MASSIVE as I would normally deal with it myself.
ReplyDeleteStill haven't fathomed out how they get in baths and sinks.
DeleteThey are my worst nightmare and only phobia. I'm terrified of them and now won't even have the windows open. The sight of one makes me shudder and panic.
ReplyDeleteDon't like them at all, always glad when they have finished mating.
DeleteYuck, we only get small spiders and they are bad enough. I would hate to see a big one inside the house as I have a rough time with the small ones.
ReplyDeleteGod bless.
We probably put out 10 or more this time of year.
DeletePlease don't throw them outside as that can harm them. Much better to put them carefully outside.
ReplyDeleteI was speaking figuratively.
