It’s going to be hot and humid this weekend. Having done my watering, I set to weeding. It felt coolish when I started, but three large trugs later, I am steaming:(
Attended a new specialist clinic being trialled at our surgery. Pleased to say, I am doing reasonably well so far, but my extra tablet has dropped my blood pressure somewhat on the low side. Have had a block put on my medical records to state under no circumstances am I to have any extra pills such as ACE inhibitors otherwise I will pass out!
Have now been added to the regular clinic so that is good. Supposed to be seen back at the hospital within six months of my last appointment, want to put a bet on that happening. Surgery says I am to phone them up a month beforehand to remind them, yeah, right!!! The surgery itself will see me again in March. Hey ho!
Yes it's sticky here too, even with a slight breeze, not enough to make a difference though. Husband had several changes/additions to his heart meds a few months back, which caused his BP to drop so low he was constantly having dizzy spells and stumbling into furniture and walls. After several adjustments, he's now ok, although still gets the odd dizzy spell. Nope, I wouldn't like to put a bet on you being seen in 6 months!
ReplyDeleteThe weather is being very deceptive, it looks like it is cool out at the moment but if you go out and try and do anything, just like you say, you quickly start to feel the sticky heat.
ReplyDeleteI'm glad they put that block on your medical records, we don't want you passing out and doctors are not always careful when prescribing an additional medication if they haven't seen you before. My Mum has just changed practices and the new doctors reviewed her medication, it turned out the previous doctors had her on far too high a dose of iron tablets. Now she's stopped taking them to that level she has also been able to stop taking the constipation medicine that the other doctor had also prescribed.
