Hope you all got some sleep and not too many loud bangs from fireworks disturbed you. We had some idiot letting off one rocket every 30 seconds until 12:30 when finally, they let everything off and we could all relax.
Didn’t hear Ruby so think she was ok with it all.
We shall take stock of what needs doing this month, write yet another list and make a start in a few days. Decorations were taken down before New Year as I don’t tend to keep them going unless we have visitors.
I'm glad Ruby was OK this year. Good luck with the stock taking. xx
ReplyDeleteHaven’t started yet, oh dear:(
DeleteGood that Ruby wasn't bothered by the fireworks. I wish they would make it law that only properly organised public fireworks displays are allowed.
ReplyDeleteUs too. Organised ones would be so much better.
DeleteAll quiet on the Suffolk front - really odd to think I never get woken by fireworks here yet on the smallholding in the middle of nowhere got woken 4 or 5 times a year by the second home owners from London!
ReplyDeleteNoisy so and so’s! At least it was just New Years Eve for us and not extra nights.
DeleteHappy New Year! I'm new to your blog. Looking forward to your posts (and maybe your lists? lol)
ReplyDeleteThank you and welcome.
DeleteNo fireworks here and I was so tired nothing could have woke me up. I am slowly getting back to normal (well I did need one nap today and a couple of rest periods) so I think we are on the mend.
ReplyDeleteHappy New Year.
God bless.
Hope you are as well. My daughter in law is still not right after nearly 3 months. Can’t even get a doctors appointment.
DeleteHappy New Year, I hope it's a brilliant one for you and all the family.
ReplyDeleteI was tucked up and asleep by 11pm, awake briefly to the sound of fireworks for five minutes at midnight and then back snoring before I even knew it. Not a bad way to see in the New Year.
Gosh, you were lucky. Happy New Year to you as well.
