Plodding On

I have started to finish the item I am sewing for DGD. I am taking a chance as obviously, they are busy looking after her (and working) so their minds are on other things. Hopefully it will all work out in the end.

Their building work continues apace and everyone will be glad when it is finished. The noise, dust and cold have been hard for them all. Luckily DGD is still in hospital. She continues to be well thank goodness.

We hope to go up tail end of next week to see her and them, providing the work is finished which the builders reckon it will be.

Just been to the garden centre to buy two more bags of manure. One for the fruit cage, the other for all the fruit trees.

  1. Plodding here too. Waiting for some better weather so that we can get to the allotment to prune all the fruit bushes and trees.

    1. Also sunshine and a bit of warmth would be nice to do these jobs.

  2. I'm so pleased to hear that your little granddaughter is still doing well, and it sounds as though being in hospital is a good thing with all that work going on at her home.

  3. Everywhere is just so wet underfoot and damp overhead- not nice for working at all.
Good to hear your little granddaughter is doing OK.

  4. So pleased she continues to be wekk.

  5. I hope you enjoy your visit and that the project you are making for your granddaughter is well loved. I am currently beneath a knitted lap blanket made for me by my grandmother before she passed away. It is so soft all of the pets have loved it and so do I.

  6. I hope you manage to get up and visit. I am also very glad that your granddaughter is doing well.

    God bless.
