Our weekly biscuits have been made - lemon and chia seed - plus a jar of granola created and baked:
Granola is sprinkled onto our smoothies/porridge or banana yoghurt breakfasts. It helps it last for 2 or 3 weeks.
Both look good. I am a great fan of homemade granola and it is much healthier.
We don’t like it sweet and this has a bit of maple syrup in it.
I need to practice my granola making, I always seem to give it a burnt taste. In the meantime I've been eating Deliciously Ella's ready made granola, it's very tasty for breakfast and supper.
I think cooking times are to blame. I do mine for 10 minutes, toss and another 10 minutes at the most. Then I tip it not a big bowl so it doesn’t catch on the tray.
