Has anyone else....

found they can’t find Elaine Colliars blog Mortgage Free in Three? She started blogging again recently but every social media outlet linked to it seems to be missing or not working. I can find social media stuff relating to her mind maps stuff though. I was after some of her recipes. Any help with an answer?

  1. I see what you mean, I've just googled and it seems her website/blog has indeed disappeared. She does have a Facebook page, but it's not been updated since April. There are quite a few recipes on there though, if that helps.

  2. Oh, dear, not another one. It's so sad when people you feel you 'know' just vanish.
I hope you can at least find the recipes you want.

    1. Just my links will no longer work, not the end of the world.

  3. Oh no, I often go back to her blog for a recipe. Just looked through my scribbled notebook and I have written out "Jamaica Ginger Cake", Cheap Chicken Biryani" "Ten second mayonnaise"`and "Banana Breakfast Bars". I must get them typed up to keep, my memory is a bit iffy these days and I like to check a recipe before making as I am quite likely to leave something vital out otherwise. (Sugar from bread & butter pudding for instance!)

    1. Stopping blogging is fine, just wish the blog would be left behind once personal stuff is removed.

  4. She's still active on Pinterest. Just search for Mortgage Free in Three. You might find what you're looking for on one of her boards

  5. Yes, I noticed some time ago that she had stopped blogging. I really admire people who sustain a blog as it’s quite a committment.

    1. Maybe her mind mapping is of more interest now.

  6. I have only just written about this on my own blog, how they just say this is my last post and piffft they've gone, so annoying when you've been following them for years.. But I suppose we all move on!

    1. She came back for one post to say the blog would be getting updated as and when, then just disappeared.

  7. That is a shame I could do with reading more frugal blogs, don't know where to start.

  9. Thanks. Have just checked my other computer and most are there. Chicken Bhuna Curry is the only one I haven't got.

    1. I've got the bhuna recipe!! And the original curry paste recipe :-)

On my blog click on Ali's Soup Kitchen at the top. Then check the labels on the right and click on 'curry' for the bhuna (it's the second post) or 'curry paste' for the original recipe
