Once dried in the oven and ironed, they looked like this:
I shall find the other items collected over the years from WWII and into the 50's and 60's in case there is anything of interest or use.
It looks good.
ReplyDeleteI switched to coffee dyeing things when I realised it does just as good a job and as a non-tea drinker I didn't have to put up with the awful smell as linens soaked.
Being a strong tea drinker I don’t mind but I did end up with fingers that looked like I was a chain smoker!
DeleteIsn't it wonderful finding old cuttings etc like that? Do you keep them in a scrapbook or something?
