Front Gravel Garden and Ruby

Thse two pictures were taken 4 days apart, before and after the recent rain:

Doesn't look much different but it is in real life. It has really perked up. Shame about the new window middle bar, the old window didn't have one.

Meanwhile, in the dining room, Ruby was sunbathing by the back door:
I was at the computer, attempting to take this picture over my head so as not to distrub her. She saw what I was doing though!

  1. I'm sure dogs have see through eyelids. Bertie has been in some adorable positions but he knows the minute I get my phone ready to take a photo.

    1. I only have to slightly move, even when she seems fast asleep, and she moves.

  2. They seem to have a knack of knowing when you are looking at them. She looks content.

    1. Yes they do. She now finds all the sunny spots she can, even if she pants when lying there, daft dog!

  3. Thank you, that’s about two thirds of the front garden. Yes, the rain was much appreciated.

  5. The garden looks lovely. Yes we really needed the rain. Dogs n children are the same as soon as they see a camera.

  6. Oh you can't do anything without a dog noticing, especially when it might be linked to going out ... or food :-)
